Outline

I.1 Introduction

Welcome to MyQCM Aljazayr. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MyQCM platform, including all services, features, and content provided through the MyQCM Aljazayr website, mobile application, and associated platforms (collectively referred to as the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Purpose of the Terms of Service

The purpose of these Terms is to clearly outline the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both the users (referred to as “you,” “your,” or “User”) and MyQCM Aljazayr (“we,” “our,” or “us”) when accessing and using the Service. These Terms are designed to create a legally binding agreement between you and MyQCM Aljazayr, ensuring that your experience on the platform is transparent, secure, and in compliance with applicable laws.

These Terms govern your access to
  • The MyQCM web and mobile platforms, where you can access quizzes, AI-powered learning tools, and other educational materials.
  • Any training programs, workshops, or events organized through MyQCM.
  • Features related to personalized learning paths, real-time feedback mechanisms, and any other tools provided by MyQCM.

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time, and it is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications to the Terms signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Acceptance of the Terms

By creating an account, registering for an event, or accessing any part of the MyQCM platform, you are agreeing to the Terms of Service and any other guidelines or rules that may apply to specific services or features within the platform. You acknowledge that you are entering into a legally enforceable agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue the use of the Service immediately.

The use of the Service is conditional on your acceptance of these Terms, which govern your access to and interaction with the platform. You represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility criteria (detailed in Section II of these Terms) and that the information provided during registration is accurate and truthful.

Definitions

To provide clarity and consistency, the following terms are defined for the purposes of this agreement:

Our Commitment to You

At MyQCM Aljazayr, we are committed to providing you with high-quality educational content, innovative AI-driven learning solutions, and opportunities to enhance your academic journey. Our goal is to create a productive and supportive learning environment, whether through quizzes, clinical case simulations, or professional training sessions.

We strive to maintain the privacy and security of all users while providing access to valuable learning resources. Your trust in using our platform is of utmost importance, and we will always prioritize your needs while adhering to the highest standards of data protection and security (see our Privacy & Cookie Statement).

Modifications and Updates

The educational and technological landscape is constantly evolving, and as such, we may need to modify or update these Terms to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. We will notify you of significant changes to these Terms via email or through notices on our platform. It is your responsibility to regularly review the Terms to ensure compliance.

If you continue to use the Service after changes have been made to the Terms, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the Service immediately.

Binding Agreement

These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and MyQCM Aljazayr concerning your use of the platform. Any other agreements, understandings, or representations (whether written or oral) not explicitly included in these Terms are not binding.

Should any provision of these Terms be found unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We are excited to have you as part of the MyQCM Aljazayr community and look forward to helping you succeed in your academic journey. If you have any questions or require clarification on any part of these Terms, please feel free to reach out to our support team at [email protected].

2. Eligibility

This section outlines who can use the MyQCM platform and participate in its services, events, and training programs. It is important that users meet certain criteria to ensure a relevant and effective experience on the platform.

2.1 Minimum Age Requirement

To use the MyQCM platform or participate in any of our events or training programs, you must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of legal academies responsibility in your country. Individuals under the minimum age must have explicit permission from a parent or guardian, and such permission must be verifiable as per local legal requirements.

2.2 Educational Requirements and Personalization of Medical Data

Eligible Fields of Study:

MyQCM Aljazayr is designed specifically for students in the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and midwifery. To use our platform and participate in our specialized services, you must be actively enrolled in one of these programs at a recognized educational institution. This ensures that the content, quizzes, clinical simulations, and training programs provided through MyQCM are relevant to students preparing for healthcare professions.

Personalization of Medical Data by University:

We are committed to providing a tailored educational experience, ensuring that the medical data and learning resources available on the platform are personalized to match the unique curricula of each university. However, the process of gathering and customizing content for different universities and fields of study is complex and time-consuming

As we grow, we are continuously working to implement these personalized features for each field of study (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and midwifery), specific to the curriculum of each university. For this reason, some features may not yet be fully available for all institutions or may take time to implement. We appreciate your patience as we work toward offering a highly customized experience for all students across the country.

In the meantime, students from Blida have priority access to the full range of MyQCM services. We are gradually expanding to other universities and regions, both within Algeria and internationally, as part of our strategic growth plan.

2.3 Geographic Limitations

At this stage, MyQCM services are only available to users within specific geographic locations . Currently, our primary focus is on serving medical students based in Algeria, particularly from the universities of Blida at lunching. As our infrastructure and resources expand, we aim to broaden our reach to other regions and countries. However, for now, certain services—especially those related to the distribution of activation cards, in-person training programs, and workshops—are limited to students in these specific areas.

Distribution of Activation Cards: To access certain premium features on the MyQCM platform, users may be required to purchase or obtain activation cards. These cards serve as an access key to unlock advanced functionalities, including AI-driven quiz features and personalized learning paths. Currently, the distribution of these activation cards is geographically restricted to locations where our network has established partnerships and distribution channels.

We understand that the geographical limitation of activation cards and services may affect some users. We are working to enhance our distribution network to reach a broader audience. Until then, we recommend that users in regions outside Blida and Algiers stay updated through our official channels for news on expanded distribution points.

2.4 User Account Responsibilities

While this section does not need immediate focus, users are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their account information. For full details, please refer to the upcoming section under 3. Account Registration and Security.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access and utilize the personalized features of MyQCM Aljazayr, users must first create an account. This section explains the process for creating an account, managing security, and ensuring that your personal data is kept safe.

3.1 Account Creation

In order to access the full range of services on the MyQCM platform—including quizzes, personalized learning paths, training programs, and clinical experience tools—you must register for an account. The account registration process involves the following steps, which are reflected in the screens you see when signing up:

1. Sign-Up Process:
  • You can sign up with your email address or use a Google account for easier registration.
  • The following information is required during account creation:
    • Full Name: Enter your real name, as this will be used to personalize your experience and for certification purposes.

2. Profile Customization: After your account is created, you will proceed to set up your personalized profile (as shown in the screens).
